A young woman is captured in a moment of pure joy. With eyes closed, her head slightly tilted back and a broad smile on her face, she radiates freedom and joy. Her hand seems to follow an invisible melody, like a dance with the air.

The portrait is composed of many loose black threads, which give the work a playful character. Together, they create a vivid image full of texture and movement. The Dress shows subtle densities and the background of handmade paper gives the work a warm, natural base.

This portrait feels light, expressive and human. Perfect for spaces where passion, dance or feminine energy come into their own. This series grew out of my love for materials with character and story. Handmade paper fascinates me. Every fibre, every irregularity is unique and depends on the origin of the paper. The thin black thread makes it fragile and in some places almost seems to merge into the paper itself. This combination, together with my passion for creating portraits of people and animals, ensures that I have worked on each artwork with great pleasure and dedication.
