"Yellow ranunculus reflected in a petrol surface" is a macro photo of a warm yellow ranunculus, lying on a reflective surface with texture in it. As a result, on part of the surface, where the focus is, you can see the texture in the background.
When taking this photo, I chose a shallow depth of field. the further back you look, the fainter the leaf becomes. This (together with the lighting) creates depth in the work.
The leaf lies on a mirrored surface that does have a structure. As a result, there is no tight mirror image, but an almost painterly reflection. The colour combination (which gives a nice contrast) makes the yellow Ranunculus stand out even more.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or simply above the sofa in the living room! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room (business).
