Yellow Daffodil Stamen with Water Droplet - During my visual exploration doing photographing my subject matter I find little gems by chance. This little water drop sitting on the stamen of this yellow daffodil is one of those finds. I had to push my macro lens to focus on this tiny drop.
I photographed this daffodil stamen really close at a direct eye-view angle. The stamen is almost at the center of the composition. The sunlight creates a glow to the bright yellow of the daffodil. Towards the edges, the yellow fades into a soft cream white. The feeling is airy and intimate like an embrace.
The daffodils are the symbol of new beginnings and rebirth, which makes them a wonderful gift for someone who starts a new chapter in their life.
