About ‘World map with relief and a focus on nature and the ocean’ by Nadieh Bremer

A world map that goes beyond mere national borders and cities. Relief shading beautifully reveals mountain ranges and plateaus, as well as the hidden landscape beneath the ocean, creating an almost 3D effect.

Colour gradients show contour lines on land and depth lines in the sea, allowing you to see the relief of the entire Earth at a glance. In addition, national borders, state borders (of large countries), time zones, major motorways and railway lines are also shown as lines on the map.

You can also find thousands of names on the map. From human settlements such as countries, states and major cities to small towns and islands. But by far the majority of labels refer to natural features, such as rivers, lakes, seas, high mountains (with their elevations), volcanoes, mountain ranges, glaciers, plateaus and deserts (both above and below sea level).

This map is a tribute to the natural world, and a paradise for those who love to spend hours exploring.

Please note: This map was originally designed in a size of 2.85 x 1.5 metres. In smaller sizes, the main labels (countries, major cities, oceans, mountain ranges) remain clearly legible, but the smallest details (such as small rivers, capes and lesser-known place names) may become more difficult to read. Time zones are several years out of date.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
