About "World Heritage Schwerin Castle"

About the artwork

It is late autumn in the park of Schwerin Castle. The leaves of the chestnuts, plane trees, ginkgos and lime trees have turned a yellow-brown colour. Just a few more days and the trees will be bare. The castle shines brightly in the morning light of the November day. Hardly any other building in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern receives as many compliments as Schwerin Castle. The present building was constructed between 1845 and 1857 as the residence of the Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. The state parliament of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has been based here since 1990. However, the palace is not only a political centre, but above all a central meeting place for visitors to the state capital and the people of Schwerin themselves. Since July 2024, the palace has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site - as the centrepiece of the Schwerin Residence Ensemble - and has been recognised as an Outstanding World Heritage Site. Winter is coming soon. This will also emphasise the beauty of Schwerin Castle. Therefore, Schwerin Castle is worth a special visit at any time of year.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
