There is work to be done for the many bumblebees the sculptor saw in the ribes bush.
This shrub blooms early in the year and attracts many insects.
The bumblebees on the bush are hard at work collecting nectar. It was not easy to take a sharp picture while the bumblebees were so busy.
Here a bumblebee hangs on the tip of a flowering flower in the bush where it will also strip this flower of its nectar.
The ribes flowers have a red to pink color and bright green fresh leaves and is one of the first bloomers in early spring.
Besides my work as a nurse, photography is a hobby with which I can enjoy myself for hours.
So in my allotment garden and in nature I am often photographing between all those cheerful colours, plants, flowers, all kinds of small insects and there are beautiful butterflies.
