Royal Grace shows a stately portrait of a woman exuding strength and elegance. Her skin shines dark and deep, like polished bronze. The soft but dignified look is framed by a crown of flowers: fiery red roses, a central white dahlia and warm orange and yellow accents. Tiny butterflies add subtle life, while the copper earring and green-gold veined cloth add richness to the image.
This work grew out of my fascination with the strength and beauty of women, and their connection to nature. With Royal Grace, I wanted to create a modern interpretation of classical royal portraits. The flowers symbolise growth, flowering and impermanence, and together they form an ode to dignity and inner pride.
The atmosphere is warm, stately and timeless. The work exudes luxury and tranquillity, as if you are looking at an icon rising above time. The message I want to convey is that true beauty comes from strength and serenity, from harmony with yourself and your surroundings.
Combining photography, digital painting and collage creates a layered image that feels both modern and classic. Royal Grace is an eye-catching piece that elevates any space with colour, depth and meaning.
