This illustration, to me, exudes a great deal of peace. The woman has something graceful about her, and a relationship with the bird sitting on her, though I'm not sure exactly which one. I created this work digitally and took inspiration from the famous Fiep Westendorp. I really like the way she portrays characters and how she gives a distinct atmosphere in her illustrations!
The bird seems to be alert and secure at the same time.
The tea with hearts gives light. I don't know what it is that warms the woman, but it could just be love.
