I Am, Thats All!

This portrait is part of an ongoing exploration of quiet strength and introspection in feminine identity. The woman in the image, with her bold brows, steady gaze, and voluminous dark hair, appears poised between eras — her expression timeless, her clothes echoing romantic styles of the past. Yet her presence is modern, thoughtful, and grounded.

I created this piece to capture a moment of stillness, a pause in thought, where the subject is both observing and retreating inward. Her hand resting on her face is a subtle gesture of contemplation, and her slightly parted lips suggest a withheld word or emotion. The unfinished quality of the drawing — the delicately sketched clothing and hand — reinforces the idea of incompletion, of a self still becoming, or a story still unfolding.

This work is about finding beauty and power in vulnerability. It speaks to the quiet resilience many carry behind composed exteriors. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
