About ‘Tulpanland’ by annika persson

I wanted to create an image that captures the feeling of spring – not just as a season, but as a state of mind. That first warm day when the light feels new, the air is soft, and everything starts over. I didn’t focus on precise forms or flower species, but followed color, movement, and rhythm. Tulips and other blossoms emerged in soft brushstrokes, blending into each other. I used watercolor to bring out the lightness, the transparency, and that dreamy feeling I often look for. I wanted it to feel like standing in a garden – not viewing it from a distance, but being inside it, surrounded by color. The image is also a tribute to the simple and beautiful things we often miss in everyday life. A sense of calm in the middle of everything else. For me, creating without pressure – just with my hand and heart – is a way to get close to something real. That’s the feeling I tried to capture in this piece: something not perfect, but filled with warmth, light, and life.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
