About ‘Wintry South Limburg Landscape’ by Peter Kuipers

It is a weekend in January and for weeks now the cold has been gripping our country. Temperatures hover around freezing and during mornings like this, with a bright, sunny start to the day, wisps of mist hang in the valleys.

The hilly landscape of southern Limburg looks fairytale-like. In the distance, the church of Slenaken stands out, hidden under a soft layer of mist. In the foreground is a lone tree surrounded by rolling hills.

The clock strikes nine. The sun is just climbing above the ridge, setting the landscape in a warm light. The day has started fantastically.

And as the light slowly gets stronger,
the mist dissolves bit by bit in the valleys.
The hills emerge,
as if the landscape reveals itself anew.

The cold still bites the air lightly,
but the sun promises softness.
Everything stands still for a moment - a moment to hold,
before the day moves on and the fairy tale silently dissolves into time.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
