Three reindeer and metres-high snow-covered trees. A fairy tale if you ask me. The falling snow creates a nice texture in the photo. It almost looks like a black and white photo but it is definitely not, this photo was really shot and developed in colour.
It was such a beautiful moment, a group of about 15 reindeer were walking together across the lake to the next location. These three walk so nicely with each other and I waited until they walked right in front of the "alone" pine tree, which finely completes the composition.
The photo was shot in Swedish Lapland near Jokkmokk. It was right on the Arctic Circle, the photo was shot from below the sign announcing the Arctic Circle. I can so well imagine that this photo would look beautiful in different styles of interiors. With its almost black and white look, it actually fits everywhere.
