About "Winter morning at the Havendijk in Gorinchem"

About the artwork

On the Havendijk in Gorinchem, there was a quiet, wintry atmosphere. It was still dark, just before sunrise, and a thin layer of fog lay above the water of the canal. Along the quay, a few boats stood still, softly lit by the warm glow of street lamps and ship lights.

The combination of the cold blue-grey of the morning and the warm artificial light added depth to the image. The fog muffled sound and visibility, making everything feel quieter and more compact. Reflections in the water completed the picture - subtle, but full of atmosphere.

What attracted me was how city and nature come together here: the old stone quay, the still water, the boats and the light. No crowds, just a quiet moment in a city slowly waking up.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
