About ‘Winter atmospheres in the Biessumer forest’ by Peter Kuipers

This week in January '25 was especially cold and foggy. A lot of low-hanging fog created a lot of frost on the trees and bushes. This created a beautiful atmosphere in the Biessumer forest. It looked like it had been napping.
A footpath called The Ommetje runs through the Biessumerbos. The Ommetje runs from Uitwierde to Biessum with a nice stretch through this forest along the way.
It felt pretty cold even though it was only 2 degrees below zero, but that certainly didn't spoil the fun.
