About the artwork

The artwork "Wing in the desert" reveals an intriguing contrast between an abandoned concert grand piano and the vast desert surroundings. This contrast, which makes the sculpture so captivating, immediately grabs attention.

The grand piano, half buried in the sand, exudes a sense of lostness and transience. It is a symbol of human creativity and expression, lying here now in a desolate environment. At the same time, it contrasts with the timeless and unchanging beauty of the desert.

The warm colours used enhance the atmosphere of the desert and add an extra dimension to the work. They evoke feelings of warmth, dryness and endlessness, which are characteristic of this pristine environment.

The high contrast between the wing and the desert emphasises the contrast between human creation and untamed nature. It creates a visual tension that invites the viewer to reflect on themes such as impermanence, the relationship between man and nature, and the power of imagination.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
