About ‘Wildlife | Grey Kestrel’ by Ceciel Maakt

This animal portrait features the grey kite, an elegant bird of prey known for its sharp gaze and graceful appearance. The combination of soft grey tones, warm accents and subtle colour nuances gives this work a calm yet powerful aura. The eyes immediately draw the eye and form the heart of the portrait. This work is part of my *Wild* series, a collection of animal portraits that focus on character, beauty and the power of nature. For me, it is not just about capturing an animal, but above all about making a presence visible. The grey kite exudes freedom, focus and self-confidence – qualities I wanted to capture in this portrait. With great attention to detail, the structure of the feathers has been carefully constructed, whilst the use of colour lends a contemporary feel. This creates a balance between realism and artistic interpretation.

This nature art looks stunning in a living room, study or office and is a real eye-catcher for lovers of birds, wildlife art, birds of prey and animal art. A portrait that brings a sense of calm, yet continues to captivate with its powerful presence.

Nature, animals and expressive gazes form the basis of my work. My illustrations combine realism with my own distinctive use of colour, bringing a sense of calm, wonder and personality to a space. Much of my work forms part of the ‘Wild’ series, a collection of animal portraits in which character and narrative take centre stage. I also create commissioned illustrations for private individuals, authors and organisations.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
