De westkust van het zuidereiland van Nieuw Zeeland is in een woord prachtig. Er loopt maar 1 weg van noord naar zuid en deze kronkelt afwisselend door regenwoud, hooggebergte, langs steile kusten en gletsjers. Omdat er bijna geen mensen wonen aan de westkust geniet je bijna aldoor alleen van dit unieke natuurgebied!
