In this photo, a female wild boar (sow) looks around the corner past a beech tree. The boar clearly still has a winter coat which makes her look burly. She looks right past the camera, searching for the sound the camera made. In the background, the contours of a pine forest are visible.
This wild boar was photographed in the woods around Nunspeet. Because I was hidden under a camouflage net the boar came very close. I was low to the ground, so the boar stood higher than the camera. This makes her look beautiful in the picture.
