The brown bear is a diurnal animal, but in disturbed areas it emerges only at night. He is an omnivore with an extensive menu. Its diet consists of 85% plant foods, as fruits, nuts, grasses, herbs, bark and roots, and of course honey. Animal food consists of carrion, insects and larvae, but it can also grab ungulates, from sheep to moose. A brown bear runs an average of 5 to 6 mph, but can reach 50 to 60 mph.
