This work shows an abstract close-up of a white, textile surface with a fine structure and gentle folds. The targeted lighting emphasises the subtle shadows and highlights and gives the image a calm, almost sculptural depth. The inspiration for this image was the quiet presence of textiles in space - a moment in which materiality and light merge into a visual composition.
In the creative process, the focus was on reduction: colour was deliberately reduced in order to focus on form, structure and the effect of light. The visual language is minimalist and open to interpretation - it invites contemplative contemplation and leaves room for individual associations.
The work is particularly suitable for modern, minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired furnishing styles. It is also effective in light-flooded rooms or as a calm accent in clearly structured interiors. Stylistically, it can be categorised as abstract photography with a textile and light-related focus, with echoes of material art and light studies.
Its speciality lies in the combination of structure, light and stillness - it looks like a captured moment of calm that enriches rooms with visual clarity, depth and timeless elegance.
