The little white chapel in Sinderen is the Antoniuskapel. It was an oratory for the residents of the castle and the country folk of the hamlets of Sinderen and Groot-Breedenbroek. In 1660, the wooden chapel was destroyed by a storm and was rebuilt in stone in 1662.
It is unfortunate that the history of the castle in Sinderen is shrouded in mists. It was demolished in 1875 and few Fotos and documentation of it can be found. Several farms were built with the stones in the area. You can see this by the white stones that indicate it belonged to the castle.
