White Peacock' is a painting made with oil paint on panel. When I saw this peacock somewhere, I was immediately enchanted by its beautiful feathered coat. So I couldn't resist painting it later on in my studio, and not leaving out any feathers.

I would like to introduce myself. I am Amy Verhoeff, a Dutch artist who is into creating realistic paintings. Since 2019 I live and work in our old long-gable farmhouse in Dommelen that used to belong to my grandparents. My grandfather was also an artist and made sculptures from a mathematical perspective. We converted his old work space into my new studio with an exhibition space. So the building has a family history as well as a cultural history.
