The white clover derives its name from the predominantly white colour of its flower. It is a well-known species in grasslands, on lawns and on roadsides. As with other species of clover, the leaf consists of three leaflets. Sometimes there are plants with four petals, the (four-leaf clover), which would bring luck when you pick it.
