That autumn morning, I had originally set out to capture Bremen's old town, but when I noticed a fog layer over the Weser river, I knew the Weserstadion, home of Werder Bremen, would be the perfect subject. The mist separated the scene's elements, softening the background and enhancing the contrast between the autumn foliage and water. As the fog shifted and changed in density, I waited patiently and managed to capture just the right balance between clarity and mystery.
