Weltenburg Abbey is a Benedictine abbey (Abbey of St. George) in Weltenburg, a district of Kelheim on the Danube in Lower Bavaria. It lies above the Danube breakthrough in a Danube loop. The monastery belongs to the Bavarian Benedictine Congregation. The main tasks of today's Weltenburg Abbey are the pastoral care of the parish and the reception of guests in the "Begegnungsstätte St. Georg".

The abdij van Weltenburg (Duits: Kloster Weltenburg, Abbey of St. George) is a benedictijnenabdij in Weltenburg, a branch of the city of Kelheim in Beieren located in the area of Regensburg. The abbey is situated on the banks of the Danube, moreover, on the smooth surface of a meander, within the interior of the plaza-like rivierloop. The abdij is known by its abdijkerk and brouwerij. As an invocation of the rules of conduct of hospitality and service, which are important for the order of appointment, the Abdij took the pastoral care at me of four possible parishes and was received in the St. George Meeting Centre.
