I wanted to photograph the barge and I saw the water taxi approaching from the corner of my eye. I waited until the water taxi passed in front of the barge. This photo is a very nice shot of the bustle of the various ships on the New Maas. Walking along the waterfront along the city of Rotterdam, there is always movement on the river with the ships on their way to and from the ports.
The water taxi's are a busy activity and the impressive helmsman work of the skippers is worth a photo. The speed the tight turns and that between all the barges.
