About "Water, sunlight and reflection in winter 2"

About the artwork

This symmetrical composition is dedicated to the relaxing ambience by the water, the mirrored image of nature and the magical colours at sunset in winter. Golden sunlight is reflected on the surface of the water. In addition, the scene is characterised by dark blue tones and silver-grey light reflections. Frozen areas, but also gentle movements and the undulating structure of the water give the reflection of nature an abstract appearance. This effect is emphasised by the reflection of the reflection. Grasses on the shore and a tree appear as blurred silhouettes.

In my opinion, reflections stand for the magic of the moment, which is part of the constant change in nature. When I experiment with reflections and the meditative effect of water, I am particularly fascinated by the interplay of lights and shadows. But the relationship between real nature and its reflection in water is also the subject of my pictures.

The reflected image of a scene embodies a place that can only come into being through visual perception. A place that exists in our imagination and that represents a kind of parallel world to tangible nature. A place that can inspire our dreams. Two mirrored worlds meet in this work. The result is an abstract dreamscape of water, sunlight and shadows.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
