Rocks in the surf. A cloudy evening on the beach of Domburg, Walcheren. The clouds in the sky give a little dimension and atmosphere to the sky. Domburg is the oldest seaside resort in Zeeland. It combines a beautiful beach with beautiful nature and an impressive historic town directly behind the dunes. The biggest attraction for tourists who come to Domburg is the wide sandy beach, which extends all the way to Westkapelle. The mundane appearance makes Domburg beach so popular. Domburg beach is best known, just like the rest of Walcheren, for its characteristic stilt heads, characteristic beach houses and of course the cozy atmosphere. Furthermore, the province of Zeeland has the most sunshine hours in the Netherlands in the summer months. A great base for a wonderful beach vacation.
