"Warm brown tones: Dried petals" is a macro photo of beautiful petals growing in Lanzarote.
The plant from which these petals come is probably the Bougainvillea. This plant has beautiful beautifully coloured bracts, these surround the real flowers. These have fallen off the plant with the seeds and have been dried by the sun. This made the vein structure of the leaves very visible.
If you zoom in on the photo, you can see that I chose a small depth of field when taking this picture, so a small part is in focus, and everything in front and behind it gradually fades out. This creates a sense of depth in the work. This setting also gives a somewhat dreamy atmosphere. Because of the mirrored surface, you can see the leaves, upside down, reflected in the ground surface. This surface has a very distinct structure, making the reflection an abstract painterly representation!
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration (on HD metal, canvas or artframe, for example) in the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or simply above the couch in the living room! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room (business).
