About ‘Wall with red and yellow bricks | minimalist | patterns’ by Laura Dijkslag

I took this photo during my city break to the Spanish city of Málaga. It is a city with a historic centre where various influences (e.g. Gothic and Renaissance gothic style) can still be clearly seen. It is a maze of streets and alleys between beautiful tall buildings in the most beautiful colours and patterns, a Valhalla for anyone who loves travel photography.

Then I started photographing them, all those special walls with their beautiful patterns. You see them in paintings, mosaics, tiles or just in brick like this one. I imagine this print in a minimalist interior as an eye-catcher or in a warm colourful interior as a photo wallpaper.
