Waiting for the new morning.
This photo was taken just before sunrise on the "Sprinzelfelsen" near the village of Busenberg in the Pfälzerwald in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.
The Sprinzelfelsen is a rock pillar made of limestone that is so typical for the Palatinate Forest. So is the tree trunk, the so-called "Rifkiefer" that has clung to this rock and spread its roots over the further surface of the rock.
The photograph depicts the brief moment just before the sun rises and the light has an all enveloping, serenity.
The light is tender and it seems to caress your skin.
