About ‘Wadden Sea at low tide’ by Kees van den Burg

The Wadden Sea, part of the North Sea, is a relatively shallow sea in the northern region of the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark. It is a unique nature reserve known for its tidal landscape and rich biodiversity. The Wadden Sea is an important area for migratory birds and seals. It is also recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its ecological value. You can go mudflat hiking, bird watching and enjoy nature.

The North Sea is a large inland sea in north-western Europe, and it lies between the UK and Scandinavia to the west and mainland Europe to the east. The North Sea has an important role in shipping and fishing and is surrounded by several countries, including the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
