The water of the Nieuwe Maas was there a hundred years ago, but other than that there is little on this "ancient" picture that was already there in the time of our great-grandparents. It shows that this is not a real vintage postcard but an artificially aged recent photo. We see here a line of buildings constructed in the last few decades, including the Courthouse, the Luxor Theater, the building of KPN and on the right just a part of Erasmus Bridge.
