Tips for use
  • Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
  • Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
  • Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
  • The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
  • Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Vintage binoculars I Vernazza, Cinque Terre, Italy’ by Floris Trapman

On one of Vernazza's old castle towers, I found this binoculars looking out over rocky outcrops of Cinque Terre and Monterosso al Mare further afield. I chose to use my analogue camera, giving the photo a nice soft look with warm orange and blue pastel colours.
