Green terraces sweep across hillside curves while narrow footpaths stitch the slopes together. Low morning mist rests in the folds of the valley and the first sun warms the tops of the bushes so the rows read like soft stripes. Look closely and you will see tiny pickers’ trails between the hedges, stone steps at a bend, and a small shed roof catching light near a ridge. The composition stays open and clear so the rhythm of rows, paths, and hills guides the eye without noise.
This artwork is my ode to early hours in Sri Lanka’s high country, when the air is cool and the land smells of leaf and damp soil. I wanted a classic travel poster mood with simple geometry, steady glow, and space to breathe. It aims for calm focus and quiet optimism, like the pause you take before the day’s work begins.
I built the scene with clean vector shapes, layered grain, and subtle paper texture to echo vintage screen print. A restrained palette of jade, moss, and warm clay keeps it timeless and easy to place in a room. On the wall it suits living rooms, kitchens, and studios, pairing with wood, linen, and neutral paint to add a fresh landscape accent without clutter.
