It is midnight and a full moon. Nowhere in the village is a light burning. In the moonlit small rectangular square, a man walks. Who is he? What is he doing there?
The village square is hidden behind three tall cypress trees and four bulbous bushes. Along the square are houses and two apartment buildings. The densely packed buildings are transformed by the moonlight into large harmonious fields of colour.
Yet the real centre of the village is not the village square, but rather the large pond on which the village square lies. On the pond float two rowing boats. The yellow colour of the rowboats contrasts beautifully with the dark colours of the reflection of the buildings, cypresses and bushes in the pond's water.
