Grevelingen is a municipality in the north of France, in the French Westhoek. The municipality belongs to the Northern Département. Grevelingen is located on the Opal Coast,

The view of the fortress enthroned high on a cliff and the beach below with some beach huts, prams and swimmers is put on paper in light colours and glazed from broad to impasto short brushstrokes. The play of light and shadow on the cliff on the beach, which is wide at low tide, is particularly well seen from an atmospheric point of view. In terms of motifs, the artist picks up on the bathing culture that was becoming increasingly popular in the 19th century, initially centred on a few seaside resorts in southern England and northern France. One of these was the seaside resort of Gravelingen on the Côte d'Opale, known for its dune landscapes, long sandy beaches and high cliffs.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
