About ‘View of the Terschelling beach’ by Wendy de Jong

Being treated to the most beautiful sunrises in the early morning.
And then also on my favourite Wadden island Terschelling.
We wake up early and see the sunrise and decide to take a few photos'of each other.
I am spending a weekend at Terschelling with four girlfriends.
Making memories!

After we have dressed quietly walked out of the hotel and taken photos'of each other, I take a moment to take a good look around.

The swallows are racing around our ears.
The sea is waking up in the background.
The sand is still cool and dewdrops hang in the beach grass waiting for the sun to make them disappear again.

I love vistas, so this photo takes me back on a journey to this lovely weekend in September.
On my favourite island, Terschelling.
