Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a picturesque town in Bavaria, Germany, known for its well-preserved medieval old town characterised by charming cobbled streets, colourful half-timbered houses and a well-preserved town wall with several towers offering panoramic views.

It was founded in the 13th century and soon became an important trading centre along the Romantic Road, a popular tourist route in Germany. Its strategic location on the river Tauber contributed to its prosperity during the Middle Ages.

Rothenburg is a treasure trove of medieval architecture, with well-preserved buildings that transport visitors back in time. Highlights include the iconic Marktplatz (market square), the imposing town hall with its Renaissance facade, Plönlein and the magnificent Regensburg Cathedral.

The city's Christmas markets are legendary and attract visitors from far and wide.
