After visiting Castello di Serralunga d'Alba, I drove north on the SP125 until, just before the hamlet of Baudana, I got this beautiful view over the green hills. The village at an altitude of 170 metres in the Serralunga valley is Castiglione Falletto.
On the hills are the vines that grow the grapes for the famous Barolo wine.
To get a nice depth in the photo, I took the hedge with roses as the foreground, this is Italy at its's best.
