About ‘View from Königstein Fortress over the Elbe River’ by Jakob Baranowski - Photography - Video - Photoshop

Königstein was first mentioned in a document in 1379. The place takes its name from the castle belonging to the Bohemian kings who controlled the Elbe valley above Pirna from here.

View from the fortress Königstein over the Elbe to Halbestadt, the few houses of Ebenheit lying on the plateau above and the Lilienstein.
