About "Victory Column Berlin"

About the artwork

The artwork "Victory Column Berlin" shows the famous Berlin Victory Column against a partly cloudy sky. In the centre is the column, decorated with golden accents and crowned by the statue of Victoria - the Roman goddess of victory. She holds a laurel wreath and a sceptre, symbols of triumph and state power. In the lower part of the picture, historical street lamps complement the composition and anchor the motif in the urban space.

The inspiration for this work arose from the desire to capture an iconic Berlin landmark in its vertical monumentality and symbolic power - not as a tourist motif, but as part of the city's cultural memory.

I wanted to create an atmosphere that is calm but present. The sky with its clouds gives the image depth and movement, while the golden details of the statue contrast with this and focus the eye.

The message lies in the combination of history, symbolism and public space. The Victory Column stands for change and remembrance - a monument that points beyond its time.

In the interior design, this work acts as a powerful accent. It brings historical depth, vertical tension and a touch of Berlin identity to modern rooms - ideal for corridors, work areas or prestigious living spaces.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
