About "Venice"

About the artwork

Venice is on the water, it consists of small islands that are connected by bridges. Venice consists of 117 islands and 150 canals. Houses and churches have been built on the islands. Venice is in the middle of a lagoon. That is a shallow lake that lies between it and all those islands. Hundreds of trees were felled to keep the city strong. Venice stood firmly on the tree trunks for a thousand years. That has changed in recent years. There are many factories near Venice. They all let dirty substances run into the water. As a result, the posts break and Venice slowly sinks away. That is why Venice is flooded 100 times a year. Venice is the city of romance.
There is much to experience in Venice. Such as sailing with gondolas, walking through the narrow streets and shopping of course.not to forget sitting on a terrace, and eating out.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
