Painted portrait of a young woman, painted in fragments that merge with the background.
The background is a turquoise colour, the same shade for the sea and the sky, or for the landscape and the sky, with only a small, thinner line running from left to right, like a mountain range or a coastline.
The painting is called "Vento del sud" - South Wind - and is inspired by the artist's second home, from where she can see the sea and this has a great influence on her work.
This work is available in two versions, with the original turquoise background - and an edited, even freer-looking white background to look elegant even on a thinner wall.
The work was painted to the song "O Deserto" by Mariza, a Portuguese fado singer, as this melody was a wonderful match for the melancholy image and the flowing blonde hair.
