About ‘Urk from Staversekade overlooking IJsselmeer’ by R Smallenbroek

Well before sunrise at the Staversekade on Urk. The sky was cobalt blue and reflected in the IJsselmeer. There was a strong wind. On the beach, I was sandblasted. In terms of colour, it is an unusual and atmospheric photo.

Not a day goes by that I am not busy with photography and can not imagine a life without it. It is wonderful to be able to share the beauty that I see and experience and wonderful when others experience the same when seeing the image. I am mainly concerned with landscape photography where the key word is atmosphere!
