The Ugandan kob is one of the most characteristic inhabitants of Kidepo Valley National Park. With its warm, reddish-brown fur and graceful, lyra-shaped horns, it exudes power and grace at the same time. This antelope lives in open grasslands, often in small groups, where it remains constantly vigilant for predators but also has moments of peace and harmony.
In the soft morning light or at sunset, the kob is at its most beautiful: its fur glows in gold, the grass moves softly around it and in the distance, the mountains of Kidepo outline itself. His presence symbolises the balance of the African ecosystem - elegance in simplicity, life in balance.
This photo collection captures the essence of the Ugandan kob: from powerful portraits to landscape images in which herds move across the savannah. It is a tribute to the subtle beauty of an animal that embodies the soul of Kidepo - quiet, proud and unforgettable.
