About "U "YOU" oil painting"

About the artwork

U (pronounced “you”) confronts the viewer with a moment of quiet intensity: the back of a woman, captured in motion, enveloped by fiery, expressive fields of color. The figure turns away, yet her presence is unmistakably felt. The work is both intimate and powerful.

It moves between figuration and abstraction, with dynamic brushstrokes reflecting emotion and spontaneity. Dominant red and yellow tones create a warm, almost burning atmosphere in which the vulnerability of the human form becomes visible.

The title subtly refers to the orange ‘U’ shape in the lower right of the canvas: a spontaneous brushstroke without any preplanned meaning. It is precisely in this randomness that the essence of the painting lies. It is an intuitive expression that leaves room for interpretation.

U invites the viewer to self-reflection. Because the figure turns away and avoids eye contact, a meaningful distance is created. The woman seems to remain in her own world, unreachable. It is exactly this that creates tension. The viewer is excluded, yet still feels addressed. A subtle question arises: who is actually looking at whom?

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
