Iceland is known for its beautiful, grand and impressive landscapes that are often volcanic in origin. But what is typical Iceland for me are the cute white churches with red roofs, the snow-capped mountains and, in June, the fields full of blue-purple lupines. This photo is of the Ingjaldshólskirkja on the Snaefellsnes peninsula.
