About ‘Twuyvermolen, Sint Pancras’ by Digital Art Nederland
The Twuyvermolen was built in 1663 as the last of the eleven mills that collectively drained the 5560-acre Geestmerambacht polder on the Raakmaatsboezem. The mills were all located on the east side of the polder and were indicated by a letter from south to north. The Twuyvermolen is therefore known as Molen A.

Owner Rob de Ruiter lives in Heerhugowaard, 50 km north of Amsterdam. A flat polder area with green meadows with cows and polder mills. And 30 minutes from the beach, forest and dunes. A perfect place to cycle what he likes to combine with taking pictures.
