The picture shows two of three crane buildings that can be admired on the banks of the Rhine in Cologne. The picture was taken with the so-called ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) technique. This means that the camera was moved at a relatively long exposure time during the shutter release. The gives the whole an abstract painterly character.
